Broadwalk Waterfall
Broadwalk WaterfallUnofficially named, Broadwalk waterfall is a short charming waterfall, which is found along the Belmont Trig Track at the Belmont Regional Park.

Walking and driving instructions
Broadwalk waterfall is roughly a 25-30 minutes’ drive away from Wellington (with traffic could be about an hour). The road surface is always sealed. From Wellington travel north on the SH-1 for roughly 6km, then turn right into the SH-2 and stay on it for the next 6.5km. From SH2 turn left into Dowse Drive and follow it for the next 3km, Turn left into Stratton St and follow it for the next 2.2 km until you reach a small car park (on your left). From the parking, return via the road (Stratton St). You’ll cross a stream via a vehicle bridge, and in 100m you’ll reach the ‘Trig Track’ entrance. Follow this track for 5 minutes until you see the waterfall. It’s a small waterfall which is observed from a foot-bridge. Return via the same track, or continue on Trig Track (4hrs). |
