Orman Falls is roughly a 1-1.5 hours' drive away from Wanaka. The road surface is always sealed.

If you drive from Wanaka, head north-west on the SH-6 (Haast Highway) for 119km until you see a waterfall (on your left) on the Orman Creek (watch for a sign). Some indications – it’s a couple of minutes’ drive away from Roaring Billy Falls carpark.

There is neither official car park, nor other facilities there. With care, park your car on a side of the road and walk to the waterfall’s base.

The waterfall is very beautiful after/during a rain.
