Walking and driving instructions
Camera Flat Waterfall is roughly a 1.5-hours’ drive away from Te Anau or 3.5-hours from Queenstown. The road surface is always sealed. From Te Anau follow Milford Road (SH-94), one of the most scenic and 'waterfalls' road in New Zealand, for 90 km. There is a huge parking right after Christie Falls bridge on the SH-94 (on your right). There are no any facilities there. The waterfall is seen on the right hand side when you drive towards Milford Sound, a couple of minutes’ drive from Hollyford Rd or 1-minute’ drive from Christie Falls. The waterfall is very tall but usually thin. More spectacular during a rain. |
