Walking and driving instructions

Te Pohue Waterfall is roughly a 1-hour’ drive away from Taupo, or 40-minutes’ from Napier. The road surface is always sealed.

From either Napier or Taupo travel on the SH-5 until you reach Te Pohue Village and Lake Pohue. Leave your car near a café.

When drive towards Taupo, the waterfall is seen on your left. Admit its beauty from a distance.

We are not sure whether a closer approach is possible or not. Talk to the property owners if you wish to walk to its base.
