Walking and driving instructions

The waterfall is situated within the Wellington Botanic Garden and there are multiple options available to visit the falls:

by car - drive to the the Lady Norwood Rose Garden carpark (Wesley Rd, Kelburn). Parking is limited to two hours. Alternatively, park on Glenmore St and walk through the main entrance;
by foot - walk from The Terrace through Bolton Street Memorial Park, about 15 minutes to the Lady Norwood Rose Garden;
by Cable Car - off Lambton Quay use Cable Car Lane (departs every 10 minutes).

From Lady Norwood Rose Garden carpark follow the main road which leads to Begonia House and Shop, and Picnic Cafe. The waterfall will be on your left halfway to the cafe. The walk is a wheelchair-friendly.

The waterfall drops to the pond with ducks. Breathtaking place. A shelter with benches are kindly provided to enjoy the view and the waterfall.
